Soil Requirements:Well-drained, rich, loamy soil that is fortified with compost or well-rotted manure. PH between 5.0 and 7.0.

Pruning:Harvest: light picking may be taken the first year. The following years the entire plant may be harvested. Cut the stalks at the soil line. All stalks maybe harvested at one time.
